Southside!
Haven't heard anything from Bok Bok in ages. I could see how co-running and art-directing one of the hottest labels in dance music, Night Slugs, could be a tad time consuming, but come on, the wait is torture. I will say that the releases are, if possible, even more fresh and exciting than they would be normally. I hear there is much more to come too. So no complaints. Preview his upcoming EP "Southside", full of familiar yet new and improved mind melting synths and percussion, below. "Silo Pass"is straight nutty.

DillonDillon FrancisFrancis
I wouldn't have any difficulty exclusively posting the work of this moombahton warrior on the blog. The man doesn't stop, touring constantly and producing the most bangin moombahton tracks out, all while seemingly partying and enjoying it more than all of us put together. Here is the mix he did for the HARD event of L.A. Needless to say, the mix is jaw-droppingly huge. Listen for Toronto's Torro Torro on remix duty for Dillon and Diplo's already smashing track "Que". Boomdah.

Marble
An update from the french powerhouses behind Marble Music. These guys and Club Cheval are truly taking over. Marble Music, boasting Teki Latex, Surkin, Bobmo, and Para One as their current roster have found a finite balance between playful, almost comical house, and the necessary smash to set a dancefloor on fire.
Two tracks off of a forthcoming EP by High Powered Boys (Surkin and Bobmo):
High Powered Boys - Girly by Marble Music
High Powered Boys - Crash by Marble Music
A snippet of Para One and Teki's adventure through deep waters and space:
Para One & Teki Latex - Deep Sea Creatures (Snippet) by Marble Music
And finally the first release from the record label, The Marble Anthem Ep. Title track is huuuge.

A1 Bassline
The Croydon native A1 Bassline is making some big noise in the UK as of late. He recently started a label with fellow bass aficionados Kavsrave and Tek One. Check out Tighten Up Records. The label has given light to a new side of A1. His most recent releases are leaning towards an old school warehouse rave sound, all infused with huge garage influenced percussion and bass. I loved his old fidgety sound, but this new stuff is excitingly fresh, explosive, and hopefully here to stay. The tracks below have been championed by the likes of Feadz, Boys Noize, and Joy Orbison. See why.

Some soundcloud love:
Ridiculous remix from Montreal's rising stars Botnek. The track is Beataucue-esque, with vocals tweaked to an unrecognizable state of word and bass. Get mad.
BeatauCue - Behold (Botnek Remix) by BeatauCue
Bombaman somehow made this track cooler. Kept the liquid-metal bassline and added the freshest dub beat ever. First drop is mental. The whole track is.
Egyptrixx - Drive U Crazy (Bombaman Remix) by bombaman
RL Grime gives us a huge take on Diplo and Afrojack's "Look At Me Now". The drums! The drums!

Here are some chunes to start off the week.
This masked innovator is finally putting out an LP on Young Turks. I think it is safe to expect the unexpected from the South London producer. Here is a taste of what we might here on the album.
Sbtrkt- Wildfire (feat. Little Dragon)
Munchi was initially known for his agressive take on moombahton, making heavy kuduro influenced remixes of hard hitting tracks by producers like TC, Datsik, and Sebastian. I loved it all, yet I am pleased to say he is now gravitating towards a more lush and chilled sound. Do i dare say deep? See for yourselves.
Munchi- Me And My Bitch
I recently realized that i've yet to post any Ramadanman or Pearson Sound on the blog. Disgraceful. Here is an older favourite of mine. "Work Them" came out on Loefah's ever-growing label Swamp 81. The track is filled with an array of ridiculously timed drums and infectious vocal chops. Perfectly maddening.
Ramadanman- Work Them
Now for some reeaal shit. Some early nineties shit. Coming out on one of the most influential labels of all time, Strictly Rhythm. Feel it.
Logic- Blues For You (Hard Dub)
Friday
The Finger Prince
The Finger Prince are putting out an EP on Bang Gang Records entitled "Conductive II". Their soundcloud says they are from Botswana. As rad as this would be, I think they really hail from Aus. Top notch production from the duo, fat drums and cruising crunchy synths. The full EP is up for preview below, plus a smashing free remix from Charlie Why. Oh, and Bowski remix is absolutely bonkers. Crank those speakers up and make a badman face. Maybe you will feel half as cool as The Finger Prince.

XY- Me (Bowski Remix)
Here is Nadastrom's latest single out on Dubsided. Track is getting huge support from the likes of Dubfire, Radio Slave, and other such techno heroes. From moombahton to deep techno? Recognize.

From the archives...a ridiculously banging rework by Laidback Luke.
Radio Slave- Grindhouse (Laidback Luke Rework)
Rhythmical perfection.

Strip Glow
Two of my current favourites have recently paired up to make some of the best, stripped down, industrial techno i've heard in a while. From their respective homes of Paris and Berlin, Das Glow and Strip Steve seem to have chanced upon a powerful chemistry and sound. The two tracks posted below are percussive masterpieces; heavily distorted, raw, and relentless. High hopes for this duo. Their most recent releases have been put out on Boys Noize's sublabel Trax which can only mean more bigness to come.
