The Croydon native A1 Bassline is making some big noise in the UK as of late. He recently started a label with fellow bass aficionados Kavsrave and Tek One. Check out Tighten Up Records. The label has given light to a new side of A1. His most recent releases are leaning towards an old school warehouse rave sound, all infused with huge garage influenced percussion and bass. I loved his old fidgety sound, but this new stuff is excitingly fresh, explosive, and hopefully here to stay. The tracks below have been championed by the likes of Feadz, Boys Noize, and Joy Orbison.
